This artwork was inspired by listening to Andrea Bocelli’s song, Con Te Partiro (Time To Say Goodbye) on repeat. The idea came to mind of a headless girl floating from a window out to sea. Her open hands releasing the past as she recedes into the distance like an afternoon shadow. A single rose dying in a vase by the windowsill signifies the end of a love story. The ship leaving the harbour offers hope for new horizons.
